The A45/CLA45/GLA45 AMG's factory downpipe carries a restrictive catalyst section that limits exhaust flow from the M133 turbo. This stainless steel downpipe replaces it with a higher-flow catalyst, improving turbo response and exhaust flow.
The factory downpipe on the M133 is sized to pass certification, not to flow freely — it's the first real restriction the exhaust gases meet after the turbo. This kit clears it while keeping a real catalyst in place, so the car stays road-legal and gains the turbo response it's been holding back the whole time.
