A water-to-air system hides its heat soak ceiling better than a traditional front-mount intercooler, but it's still there — the coolant loop just runs out of capacity instead of the air. A larger water cooler circuit buys back that margin precisely where back-to-back pulls start to feel flat on the factory unit.
